Law Enforcement Support – US and Canada

This information is intended only for United States and Canadian law enforcement.

For Law Enforcement requests that relate to phone numbers registered in other countries, please see Non US/Canada Requests.

Our Law Enforcement Agency Support Guidelines (see link below) are intended to facilitate timely, orderly and efficient processing only of Legal Demands from law enforcement in United States and Canadian jurisdictions (other jurisdictions: see sec. 10 regarding MLAT subpoenas) seeking wholesale customer-related information for numbers in-service with our companies (see affiliates list – Sec. 1.3), for which we will accept email service only to LEArequests@sinch.com and to which we will reply only via email (note: for trial witness subpoenas, see Sec. 11). Serve Legal Demands to LEArequests@sinch.com only consistent with sec. 4.1 of our Guidelines, including accompanied with a completed Cover Page Form, which is also provided below (submissions contrary to sec. 4.1 are subject to rejection and delay).

Never submit Exigent Circumstances requests to LEArequests@sinch.com. Only submit via our webform (link below), which feeds into a 24×7 monitored system.

In the alternative to serving a Legal Demand, see our online Law Enforcement Portal resource (credentialed users can query for target numbers and may be able to obtain our wholesale customer’s identity without a Legal Demand).

Please note that our Law Enforcement Agency Support Guidelines document contains internal links to cross-referenced sections of the document, but such links (red underlined cross-references to a section number) may not be visible to all browsers. Even if the link is not apparent, you should still see your cursor change as you move it over a cross-reference (e.g., “…see Sec. 3.3”) that contains a link. If you then click at this point, it will jump you to the noted section. You can still scroll up and down the document after jumping to the linked section.
