How Solution One Partners builds powerful, reliable gym messaging workflows with Sinch Engage
A HubSpot solutions partner relies on Sinch’s messaging infrastructure to give gyms the data and delivery rates they need to keep members engaged.
Overview
Challenge: Give gyms reliable, insight-driven messaging
Solution: uild custom HubSpot workflows powered by Sinch Engage
Results: Higher delivery, clearer data, and better member advice
“We looked for a HubSpot messaging partner with affordable rates, reliable delivery, and better analytics. Sinch has done an amazing job of making it a very seamless integration. They have higher delivery rates, and we can see what type of campaigns spurred the most clicks and conversions.“
Solution One Partners has built custom HubSpot implementations for clients since 2016, with deep roots in the fitness industry. Its team has run their own fitness centers, not just built software for them. That experience shapes how it designs the member journey, from first trial passes to renewed memberships.
“Our playbook is really uncovering what your secret sauce is going to be and how you communicate to your clients,” said Will Saffen, Chief Growth Officer at Solution One Partners.
But that playbook only works if the messages behind it actually land in inboxes. Will said that many gym customer relationship management (CRM) platforms bill by the text message but have low delivery rates. Their clients were spending more money for fewer messages to reach their customers.
Solution One Partners looked for a messaging partner that could close that gap and found it in Sinch.
Turning delivery data into member advice
Sinch’s messaging integrates natively into HubSpot, so Solution One Partners can send, track, and act on messages without leaving the CRM platform its clients already use.
“We know when we send 100 text messages what percentage of them, usually 98% or 99%, actually are delivered, and we get a success or failure report back into HubSpot,” Will said.
And for their clients that send Rich Communication Services (RCS) campaigns through Sinch Engage, they can see opens, read rates, and clicks. This gives Solution One Partners a fuller picture of what’s resonating with gym members.
Working together to help customers win
Chuze Fitness, one of Sinch and Solution One’s mutual customers, is an excellent example of how this partnership plays out.
“Solution One has been building these advanced workflows to walk Chuze’s customers through this very particular customer journey – depending on what they click on, what they respond to, and how they reply,” said Connor Brooks, Partner Manager for Sinch Engage North America.
Sinch’s messaging infrastructure carries all of it – SMS delivery, reporting, and now RCS, without either team having to manage a separate vendor relationship.
“It’s the perfect marriage,” Connor said. “Chuze has the marketing and brand presence. Solution One has the fitness workflow game down. And our application is the engine that powers all of that.”
Two roles, one member experience
For both teams, the partnership works because each side stays focused on what it does best.
“We’re like the infrastructure that helps power some of this,” Connor said, “but you guys are the strategic architects that are building all of it and working with these gyms to understand their business and help their bottom line.”
Both teams are already building toward richer engagement data with RCS and AI-assisted responses inside HubSpot, so Solution One Partners can turn what it learns from every message into sharper advice for its clients.
