First announced in March 2020, the closing of the transaction follows the approval of regulators and brings together Wavy and the former TWW, one of the largest mobile messaging providers for businesses in Brazil, which was acquired by Sinch in late 2019. The combined company serves more than 3,000 businesses, both large and small, including many of Brazil’s leading enterprises in the banking, retail and education sectors. Joining forces with Sinch strengthens how businesses engage with our customers worldwide. We are on a journey that has only just begun and look forward to the combined future of Sinch and Wavy”, comments Eduardo Henrique, Wavy CEO, who now becomes a member of Sinch’s Group Management team as Chief Business Development Officer. “The deal creates a leading A2P company in LATAM, especially Brazil and Mexico, based on volume.
