Toll-free numbers are 10-digit numbers for U.S. and Canada that begin with an 8XX prefix. Toll-free numbers include 800, 888, 866, 855, 844, and 833 prefixes. Wireless callers, however, will be charged for the airtime minutes used during the call unless they have “unlimited calling.”
