Sinch Elastic SIP Trunking is a cloud-based voice service that provides customers with an easy, scalable and flexible solution to connect their IP based Voice infrastructure to the Sinch voice network to make and receive voice calls.

Self-service

Customers will have all the tools they need to quickly set up and manage Elastic SIP Trunking as a full self-service product on the Sinch Dashboard. Self-service includes the ability to build trunks in real time.

Programmatic API for Provisioning

Customers and developers can leverage the power of Elastic SIP Trunking APIs to build their voice connectivity. APIs are available for all actions that are available in the dashboard.

SIP Trunks

SIP Trunk Connectivity & Phone Calls

Customers will be able to easily connect their IP communications infrastructure to Sinch Elastic SIP Trunking platform using SIP protocol. This is done through Self-service on Sinch dashboard or through an API.

Elasticity

Elastic SIP Trunking provides unlimited capacity for call paths to scale up or down, to meet your calling needs.

Calling Services

Calling services include outbound calls, inbound calls, Toll Free calls, and International Long Distance.

Platform and Resiliency

Platform

Elastic SIP Trunking platform is built in AWS (Amazon Web Services).

Resiliency

Customer can configure failover and/or loads sharing amongst multiple SIP endpoints to achieve optimal resiliency.

Features

Emergency Services (911)

Customers will be offered emergency calling services capability for the Sinch phone number that they use for Elastic SIP Trunks. Customers can provision a service address to support 911 location detail.

CNAM Lookup (Caller ID)

Customers are offered the CNAM lookup feature per SIP trunk that they create. When CNAM lookup is enabled, the receiving party will be able to see caller’s name.

Numbers

Order numbers in the dashboard from a large database of numbers.

Porting

Port numbers from your previous provider.

Pricing & Billing

Pay-As-You-Go Pricing

Elastic SIP Trunking calling charges are usage based on how many minutes are used per month and monthly recurring charges for numbers and emergency services.

Post-paid Billing

Billing is based on the calendar month.

Projects and Locations

Project billing provides the ability to create separate configurations and billing by project.

Support, Security & Data Protection

Comprehensive Support

Sinch provides comprehensive support for Elastic SIP Trunks. Open support requests via email or via a link to the Jira Service Management portal.

Security

The API & Dashboard communication between the customer and Elastic SIP Trunks is done using HTTPS. Data at rest is encrypted.

Data Privacy

Phone call data including IP address, port, phone numbers, SIP headers are needed for connecting the phone calls. These are transitory and stored in memory for the call. This data will also be stored for Billing, Call reports, CDRs, logs and troubleshooting purposes.
