Symsoft AB, the operator division of CLX Communications AB (Publ) \u2013 XSTO:CLX, has announced that its Symsoft Telecommunications Platform has achieved VMware Ready\u2122 status for Network Functions Virtualisation (NFV). This designation indicates that after a detailed validation process the Symsoft platform has achieved VMware\u2019s highest level of endorsement, and can be found on the VMware Solution Exchange (VSX)<\/a>. The Symsoft Telecommunications platform virtualises many network functions in the areas of; Policy and Charging, Value Added Service, Fraud Prevention and Signalling Security (such as PCRF, OCS, SMSC, MMSC and Signaling Firewalls). Operators can deploy the platform and by enabling and combining these virtual applications can fulfil the promise of NFV \u2013 agility, reduced time to market and improved operational efficiency. \u201cIn embracing virtualisation and the concept of NFV, MNOs are able to accentuate the advantages provided in deployment, operations and life cycle management of communications solutions,\u201d explains Leif \u00d6stling, Chief Technology Officer at Symsoft. \u201cSymsoft is constantly innovating to provide our customers with a competitive edge.
